O time Sub-20 do Verdão terá pela frente o Brasil de Pelotas, nesta segunda-feira (03), às 15h30 (de Brasília), no estádio Bento de Freitas, em Pelotas-RS, na partida de ida das oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil. O duelo terá transmissão do SporTV.

As Crias da Academia decidirão o confronto em casa. A partida de volta contra a equipe gaúcha acontece no próximo domingo (09), às 15h, na Academia de Futebol 2, em Guarulhos.

Na primeira fase da Copa do Brasil Sub-20, em partida única, o time palestrino goleou o Centro Esportivo União ABC-MS por 6 a 0, na Academia de Futebol 2. Os gols do triunfo foram anotados por Gustavo Mancha, Kauan Santos, Talisca, Wendell (duas vezes) e Ruan Ribeiro.

Em 2022, o Sub-20 do Palmeiras já conquistou a Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior e o Campeonato Brasileiro da categoria. Paralelamente à Copa do Brasil, as Crias da Academia disputam o Campeonato Paulista Sub-20. No jogo de ida das quartas do Estadual, o time alviverde encara a Portuguesa, na quinta-feira (06), às 15h, no Canindé.
