Quanto ao Lyon, o azarado meio-campista Corentin Tolisso foi titular no primeiro jogo do reinado de Blanc, mas teve que sair pouco antes do intervalo com uma lesão na coxa, e o francês pode ou não estar pronto para voltar à ação antes da Copa do Mundo.
Blanc se preparou em 3-5-2 para seu primeiro jogo, e Thiago Mendes, Jeff Reine-Adelaide ou Johann Lepenant poderiam ocupar o lugar de Tolisso, mas este último – regular de Bosz – nem estava no elenco no último fim de semana .
Julian Pollersbeck é o único outro ocupante da sala de tratamento ao lado de Tolisso, e Houssem Aouar, em particular, parece se beneficiar da introdução de Blanc, já que ele pretende começar jogos consecutivos.
