A preparação do Vasco da Gama para 2023 terá uma etapa internacional. O Gigante da Colina fará parte de sua pré-temporada nos Estados Unidos entre os dias 14 e 21 de janeiro. Neste período, serão disputados jogos com River Plate e Inter Miami. Até o período da viagem, o Cruzmaltino, que se apresenta no próximo dia 8 de dezembro, realizará seus treinamentos no CT Moacyr Barbosa.
A última vez em que o Vasco esteve nos Estados Unidos foi em 2017, também em preparação para a temporada. Os duelos com River Plate, da Argentina, e o Inter de Miami, serão realizados em Orlando e Miami, respectivamente. O CEO Luiz Mello valorizou a experiência para o Vasco e enfatizou o processo de internacionalização da marca.

Em Miami, onde está instalada a sede da 777 Partners, o Vasco realizará suas atividades no Centro de Treinamento do anfitrião.
