Durante patrulhamento preventivo realizado na manhã de quinta-feira (19), nas proximidades do Jardim Itapemirim, Zona Oeste da cidade, a Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) de Sorocaba deteve um homem de 45 anos de idade, procurado pela Justiça.
Ele estava com outros indivíduos e, por volta das às 9h35, ao perceberem a aproximação das viaturas, todos tentaram fugir em direção a uma área de mata. A equipe da GCM acompanhou os suspeitos e abordou seis pessoas, sendo quatro homens e duas mulheres.
Após consultas nos sistemas de segurança, foi constatado que um dos abordados possuía mandado de prisão em aberto, pelo crime de roubo, previsto no artigo 157 do Código Penal. A situação foi confirmada pela Central de Controle Operacional Integrado (CCOI).
Os outros suspeitos foram liberados, pois não apresentavam irregularidades criminais. Porém, o acusado acabou conduzido ao Plantão da Polícia Civil, onde permaneceu preso, à disposição da Justiça.
